Fall and winter, and the holidays especially, have always been my favorite time of the year. I remember as a child being SO excited when the holiday wish books arrived in the mail, and my lists would grow each time I combed through the glossy ads.

I don’t get quite so excited anymore, and my lists are usually populated with high-dollar items like certified diamonds or one year, a car. Think Santa will deliver?
